Palm Springs International Comedy Festival launches on October 11 with over 200 streaming films, over 180 comedians, over 75 celebrities.

Cabrillo Music Theatre welcomes a new gang in the theatre's premiere of the classic rock 'n' roll musical, GREASE. Guided by Director Barry Pearl ('Doody' in the film version of 'Grease') and Choreographer Kelly Ward ('Putzie' in the movie) and Musical Director David O, GREASE provides a showcase for 16 talented young people in this classic rock n' roll musical. GREASE opened on Friday, April 12th, 2013, and plays until Sunday, April 21st, at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks. The brand new production of GREASE, stars American Idol winner Taylor Hicks alongside Eric Schneider as 'Danny' and Emily Padgett as 'Sandy.' Eric made his Broadway debut in Jersey Boys. His previous credits include Altar Boyz (Off-Broadway) and the national tours of Altar Boyz and The Full Monty. Emily made her Broadway debut in GREASE, where she understudied the role of Sandy. Her other credits include Legally Blonde on Broadway and the national tours of CATS. Starring as 'Rizzo' will be Allie Schulz, a contestant on NBC's 'Grease: You're the One That I Want.' Allie comes directly from the Broadway company of GREASE.
