Signature Theatre Company's THE OLD FRIENDS cast met the company Broadway's THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL after a performance of Bountiful this past weekend. The critically acclaimed revival of Horton Foote's American masterpiece, The Trip to Bountiful celebrated 100 performances last night at the Stephan Sondheim Theatre. The show was recently extended again, adding five weeks to its already extended engagement, and will now play through Wednesday, October 9, giving audiences just a few more chances to see the legendary Cicely Tyson in her Tony Award-winning performance of a lifetime. On April 29th at New York City's Pierre Hotel, the National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) honored Vanessa Williams, American Express and five resident theatres celebrating their 50th anniversary - Actors Theatre of Louisville, Guthrie Theater, Hartford Stage, Seattle Repertory Theatre and Trinity Repertory Company - at NCTF's annual Chairman's Awards Gala.
