SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark will begin its second year with tomorrow evening's (Tuesday) performance at The Foxwoods Theatre. The occasion was celebrated at yesterday's matinee performance with the on-stage presentation of a giant (seven foot) cake in the shape of the iconic Chrysler Building. SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark began preview performances on November 28, 2010, and has become one of the most famous theatrical events in Broadway history.

Rebecca Faulkenberry took her premiere bow in SPIDER-MAN on November 10 and last night, November 15, Christina Sajous made her SPIDEY debut.

Jennifer Damiano played her final performance on November 6 as Mary Jane Watson in SPIDER-MAN, Turn Off the Dark on Broadway. She will be replaced by Rebecca Faulkenberry beginning on Tuesday but on Sunday cast, crew (and BroadwayWorld) were on hand for Damiano's final curtain call to bid her farewell.

In cooperation with the Broadway Green Alliance (BGA), LG Electronics donated new ultra energy efficient laundry pairs - among the most energy efficient on the market - to all 45 Broadway theaters. Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark cast member Patrick Page who plays super villain, Green Goblin, accepted the donated laundry pair on behalf of the Foxwoods Theater. Jordan was handed a gigantic bouquet of balloons, in Spidey's signature colors, as the crowd cheered.
