Anthony Newley Director
Anthony Newley was a British actor, singer, songwriter, and composer who made a name for himself in both the West End and on Broadway. Born on September 24, 1931, in London, Newley began his career in entertainment as a child actor, appearing in films such as "Oliver Twist" and "The Adventures of Robin Hood." In the 1950s, Newley began to focus on his music career, writing hit songs such as "What Kind of Fool Am I?" and "The Candy Man."
