Adrian Vaux Scenic Designer
Adrian Vaux (1936-2012) studied design at the Slade School. He was house designer at London's Mermaid Theatre 1964-1970, house designer at Leicester Phoenix and subsequently at the Haymarket 1971-1980. He designed many productions during this time, some of which transferred to the West End, including My Fair Lady, Cause Celebre and Tomfoolery. He was house designer at the Old Vic 1980-1982, where his credits included The Merchant of Venice and The Relapse. Adrian began working in Israel in 1968, designing productions for the Habimah, Cameri, Haifa and Jerusalem Theatres.
