New photos have been released of BASHEVIS’S DEMONS, which comprises three short stories by legendary Nobel Prize winner Isaac Bashevis Singer and will be presented Off-Broadway direct from engagements in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. 

Steven Soderbergh has found the leads for his next feature. Ian McKellen, Michaela Coel, and James Corden will all be appearing in Soderbergh's dark comedy The Christophers.

As 2024 comes to a close, New York City's top theatre critics have been taking stock of this theatre season- deciding on their personal choices for their favorite productions of the year. The season has been full of so many stellar plays, musicals, revivals and new works, both on Broadway and off.

What did our critic think of WAITING FOR GODOT at Corrib Theatre?

The New Jewish Theatre (NJT) is pleased to announce its 27th season of producing professional plays and musicals at the J, beginning in March of 2025. The new season brings beloved shows by celebrated Jewish authors, as well as new work that presents unique perspectives on the Jewish experience.The Season opens with CABARET, and includes THE HEIDI CHRONICLES, TWO JEWS WALK INTO A WAR..., THE WANDERERS, and BASKERVILLE: A SHERLOCK HOLMES MYSTERY.

BASHEVIS'S DEMONS, which debuted in Stockholm in December 2023, will make its official Off-Broadway bow at Out of the Box Theatre, 154 Christopher Street (between Greenwich & Washington Streets), with performances beginning December 18th and running through January 5th.

Corrib Theatre has announced its first production of the classic play WAITING FOR GODOT by Samuel Beckett, running November 29-Dec 15, 2024. The cast includes Roo Welsh as Vladimir, Karl Hanover as Estragon, Jonathan Cullen as Pozzo, Doren Elias as Lucky, and Max O'Hare as The Boy.

Nesbitt Blaisdell, a lifelong actor and director, passed away at 95. Known for his work with the Anna Sokolow Dance Troupe and teaching theater, he had a rich career in both acting and education.
