BEING A LOSER HAS NEVER BEEN SO COOL.

Broadway's new musical sensation is BE MORE CHILL. It's already "one of the most popular new musicals in America," raves The New York Times. And The Wall Street Journal cheers, "It's going to hit big - and deservedly so!" Discover this hilariously honest show for yourself, featuring an electric, ear-worm filled score by "one of Broadway's next great songwriters" (Billboard).

What if popularity came in a pill? Would you take it, no questions asked? In BE MORE CHILL, achieving the "perfect life" is now possible thanks to some mysterious new technology - but it comes at a cost that's not as easy to swallow. What could possibly go wrong? Blending the contemporary with retro sci-fi, this thrillingly exciting, comically subversive, and deeply felt new musical takes on the competing voices in all of our heads. And ultimately proves, there's never been a better time in history to be yourself - especially if you're a loser... geek... or whatever.

‘Be More Chill’ Review: No Heat Lost As Joyous Viral Musical Sensation Finally Charges Broadway
8 / 10

And here is where Be More Chill stakes its most righteous claim: For all of its storyline predictability and maybe too-happy-resolutions, Joe Tracz's book and, especially, Iconis' lyrics don't flinch from the darkness and panic of the teenage mind.

Theater Review: Be More Chill Does High School With Knowing Wickedness
8 / 10

There's a cheeky, open-eyed quality to Be More Chill that knows better than to spill over into archness - because musicals aren't actually chill at all, ever. And no one sums up this mixture of sincerity and worldly mischief better than Christine, who, when things look bleakest, delivers a distressed zinger that might just qualify for best self-own of the current theatrical moment: 'I look around and everyone's hurting. I wish there was something real I could do to make things better but I don't know how. So I guess I'll just do theater.' How do the kids put it? I feel so seen.
