Broadway Dreams is launching its 2024 Summer Intensive Tour, offering aspiring performers the chance to train with top industry professionals in various cities.

As we all know, the 23/24 Broadway theatre season has been one of the busiest in a very long time with many new plays and musicals opening within a short period. One of those shows was The Notebook. It features a score by pop writer Ingrid Michaelson and a book by Bekah Brunsetter. The show had a pre-Broadway tryout in Chicago where it was met with unanimous rave reviews.

Multi-PLATINUM artist Jade Eagleson has once again claimed the top spot on the Canadian Country charts with his latest single, 'Telluride.' Entertainment non-profit Road Recovery has partnered with New York-based Dominican singer-songwriter, Roxiny to release the new single, “Voices In My Head” featuring the legendary producer, musician, and long-time charity supporter, Don Miggs who performed, mixed and produced the track. The single is written and recorded in collaboration with The (LBTQ) Center participants as part of the organization’s Trax Program in statewide Youth Clubhouses sanctioned by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). The “Så Stille” video features the motion graphics art of Pao Olea, interwoven amongst footage of singer Cecilie Hafstad and the white reindeer which inspired the project’s title. Gabbarein translates to “White Reindeer” in the Sámi language - the reindeer visited the duo during their improvisational recording session in the Nordic town of Lyngen, on a fjord within the Arctic Circle and was an inspiration for Cecilie during the recording process. With over fifteen years and six albums under their belt, California’s own Joyce Manor made their live TV debut and played two of their most beloved songs on ‘John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA’ last night live via Netflix. Personally requested by Mulaney, the band performed 2011’s stand out track “Constant Headache” and “Catalina Fight Song” from 2014’s ‘Never Hungover Again.’

Netflix has announced that the comedy special Jo Koy: Live From Brooklyn will premiere globally on June 4, 2024. The special was filmed at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY in November 2023. This marks Koy’s fifth special with Netflix, following Live From The Los Angeles Forum (2022), Comin’ In Hot (2019),  and Live From Seattle (2017), in addition to his variety special In His Elements (2020).
