Pasadena Symphony Music Director David Lockington and Principal Guest Conductor Nicholas McGegan announce the 2014-2015 season, the first under their full artistic leadership. The 2014-2015 Classics Series sizzles with excitement, love stories, and stellar guest artists at Pasadena's historic Ambassador Auditorium. Programmatic highlights include Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet; back to back Beethoven with Symphony No. 6 "Pastorale" & Symphony No. 7, and Nicholas McGegan's reimagined Brahms Symphony No. 2.

The Vagabond Players, America's oldest continuously running little theatre, announces its 99th season.

The 2014-2015 Season marks a milestone for Oregon Ballet Theatre as it celebrates a quarter century of entertaining, exciting, and inspiring audiences in Portland and around the world. The 25th Anniversary season will also be the first programmed solely by Artistic Director Kevin Irving, who joined OBT in July 2013. Irving fills the season with nods to an impressive past while offering a clear vision of the company's bright future.

Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, celebrates 30 years of producing critically-acclaimed musicals and plays with its stellar 2014-2015 season. The internationally celebrated musical LES MISERABLES previews March 29, opens April 8, and runs through June 8; the smash hit Tony Award-winning musical comedy THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE previews June 19, opens June 26, and runs through August 17; the clever and suspenseful new play THE GAME'S AFOOT previews August 28, opens September 4 and runs through October 19; the legendary Broadway musical CAMELOT previews October 30, opens November 6 and runs through January 4, 2015; and the musical phenomenon WEST SIDE STORY previews January 15, opens January 22, and runs through March 15, 2015.

According to the Daily Mail, Beverley Knight will take over the lead role from Heather Headley in THE BODYGUARD, beginning in September. She will play 'Rachel Marron' opposite Tristan Gemmill. Knight has appeared onstage in school productions of West Side Story and The Mikado.
