The Best of Broadway & Cabaret will come out in support of the Actors' Temple, (est. 1917) on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM. The Fourth Annual Concert Fundraiser will take place at the Temple, 339 West 47th Street. This musical celebration will benefit the theater district historic landmark which has been struggling to survive in recent years.

For VC's 12th Season, 'NYC's Best Army of Geeks' brings its critically acclaimed show, ALICE IN SLASHERLAND, back to NYC! Now featuring an updated script, new fights, new special FX, and introducing VC's own Robert Ross Parker in the role of Edgar the Demonic Bear! This Halloween, come party with the Geeks for Vampire Cowboys Alice in Slasherland. Written by Qui Nguyen and directed by Robert Ross Parker, the show will feature: Tom Myers, Eugene Oh, Robert Ross Parker, Nicky Schmidlein, Bonnie Sherman and Emily Williams. The show runs tonight, October 24 - November 2, 2013.

THIRST uses the structure of Dante's Inferno to examine the role of suffering in the human experience. Throughout the work Song-Begin, costumed in layers of black, performs an on-going solo. The audience accompanies Begin-Song, like Virgil accompanies Dante, into the various realms of the underworld of the human experience.

2013 marks the 100th birthday of two of Toronto's (and the world's) most gorgeous theatres, the Elgin and Wintergarden Theatres on Yonge Street. To celebrate, there is a gala performance next Monday night featuring some of the best and brightest of Toronto's theatrical past performing from many of the shows that have graced the stages of these two theatres. After many years in donated and rental space, St. Ann's Warehouse has officially secured a permanent home in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Mayor Bloomberg announced that the Brooklyn Bridge Park Board of Directors has approved a long-term lease with the internationally renowned arts organization to develop a year-round performing arts facility and community hub in the Tobacco Warehouse, an iconic structure on the waterfront in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The announcement follows the recent completion of the federal conversion process enabling St. Ann's Warehouse to activate the space. The organization will break ground later this fall (date TBA), beginning the process to preserve and adapt the historic pre-Civil War building. St. Ann's Warehouse hopes to begin presenting in the Tobacco Warehouse in the fall of 2015.

After 20 years of entertaining Central PA, Gamut Theatre Group, the combined theatre company of Popcorn Hat Players Children's Theatre and Harrisburg Shakespeare Company, announced today that it had purchased the Harrisburg property of 15 North 4th Street, formerly The First Church of God, for the purpose of creating a permanent theatre space for the company.

The Michael Schimmel Center for the Performing Arts at Pace University today announced its 2013|2014 Pace Presents Season, under the Executive Direction of Martin I. Kagan, is a world-class performing arts series with an emphasis on music superstars from around the globe, charismatic and innovative dance performances, stunning opera stars in recital and spectacular contemporary cabaret. The Pace Presents season begins on September 21 with a big band tribute to the late, great lounge legend Esquivel from Mr. Ho's Orchestrotica, culminating onJune 1 with the reunion performance of Tina Croll and Jamie Cunningham'sdance/theatre piece From the Horse's Mouth.
