Asolo Rep continues its 2015-16 season with quintessential American playwright Eugene O'Neill's sentimental comedy AH, WILDERNESS!, directed by Greg Leaming, associate artistic director of Asolo Rep and the director of the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. The Tony Award, Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winner's sole comedy opens tonight, January 22 at 8pm and runs in rotating repertory through Sunday, April 10 in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts.

Following rave reviews and a sell out run at The Hope Theatre in Islington last February, Lovesong of the Electric Bear transfers to the intimate surroundings of the West End's newest immersive studio at The Arts Theatre this November. The acclaimed production, directed by Hope Theatre Artistic Director, Matthew Parker, tells the sometimes comic but ultimately tragic story of a true hero. This is the story of the man who cracked the Enigma Code and in so doing cut short the Second World War saving thousands of lives. Written by the celebrated British playwright Snoo Wilson, Lovesong of an Electric Bear is a surreal rollercoaster ride, which takes the audience on a dizzying journey through the world of Alan Turing.

Sundance Institute presents its U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions and the out-of-competition NEXT <=> section of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, running today, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The Festival is the centerpiece of the year-round public programs for the Institute, which also hosts 24 residency labs and grants more than $2.5 million to independent artists each year.

King's Head Theatre Selects New Artistic Director of The Hope Theatre

One year after opening the new 50-seat venue above the The Hope & Anchor Pub, it was announced today by Adam Spreadbury-Maher, Artistic Director, that the King's Head Theatre has appointed Matthew Parker to take on the venue as the new Artistic Director from October 2014.

In celebration of Asian Heritage month, the Equal Employment Opportunity Committee of Actors' Equity Association will present 'Orphans of the Nightingale of the Desert Abridged: A Bollywood Spectacular,' an evening of short plays written by members of the Ma-Yi Theater Company Writers Lab. This one-night only, free community event will take place on Tuesday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m.; first come, first served) at the Engelman Recital Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center (55 Lexington Avenue at East 25th Street).
