The ABC Television Network has announced summer premiere dates for limited series “Somewhere Between,” drama series “Still Star-Crossed,” and documentary “The Story of Diana.” Summer Fun & Games Return with new alternative series “The Gong Show,” “Boy Band,” “Steve Harvey's FUNDERDOME” and “Battle of the Network Stars.”
Los Angeles Times Announces Lineup for 22nd Annual Festival of Books, 4/22

The Los Angeles Times today announced the lineup for the 22nd annual Festival of Books, the nation's largest literary festival, April 22-23 at the University of Southern California. The event will feature more than 500 authors, celebrities, musicians, artists and chefs. On Friday, April 21, the 37th annual Book Prizes will honor reading and educational activist Ruebén Martinez with the Innovator's Award, novelist Thomas McGuane with the Robert Kirsch Award for lifetime achievement, and 11 outstanding literary works published during the last year.

SAN FRANCISCO, June 28, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ The American Library Association (ALA) is pleased to announce this year's recipients of the Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction, funded, in part, by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York. 'All the Light We Cannot See,' by Anthony Doerr won the medal for fiction, and 'Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption,' by Bryan Stevenson received the medal for nonfiction. The selections were unveiled during the Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction Ceremony and Reception. The event took place on June 27 in San Francisco and is an annual highlight of the ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition.
