The producers of "Grind" have just announced the first of many casting announcements for this musical short film. The inaugural announcement boasts the addition of Claire Coffee from NBC's "Grimm" as the female lead, Autumn.

Autumn is Vincent and Thane's straight gal pal. She is both wildly fascinated with the gay online dating culture and cautious of its potential dangers. She lives alone in Hells Kitchen, but hopes to one day find her own true connection. "Grind" takes a sexy and artistic look at the ways we connect in today's world and some of the dangers that come with that. Because, in the end, do we REALLY know who we're talking to?

Coffee has an impressive resume. Born in San Francisco, CA and a theater degree from Northwestern she went on to have recurring roles on shows such as The West Wing, General Hospital, and Franklin & Bash. She is currently a series regular on NBC's hit show "Grimm" which was just renewed for another season.

"Grind" is brought to you by a group of denizens from the big apple- including: Zachary Halley (Writer/ Director/ Producer), Selda Sahin (Lyricist and Producer), Derek Gregor (Composer and Producer), Telly Leung (Producer), Sing Out Louise! Productions (Producer), Masie Productions (Producer), Steven Tylor O'Connor (Producer and Casting Director), Joe Rusin (Producer), David Larsen (Choreographer).

The creative team will be accepting grassroots donations through June 11, 2013 to help cover production costs.
