Liquid Soul Entertainment announces the premiere of the full feature film A Good Dad by director Hugo Fernandez and producer Alec Gibson starring newcomer Adam Henry Garcia, Will Blagrove (Cost of a Soul/How Do You Know) and Hal B. Klein (Bottle Shock). The movie is being screened at Tribeca Cinemas November 5, Saturday evening at 8:00 o'clock for NY's 8th annual Big Apple Film Festival.

Alec understood his namesake in the film industry comes with a mixed bag of curiosities and presumptions. He knew he would have to address the family's press in the past and offer a glimpse of insight and reflection. But even more so, he was proud to produce a story such as A Good Dad that gives a cinematic glimpse into the complexities of human goodness and human error.

Alec met Colombian American director Hugo Fernandez through a band Erza where Hugo was moonlighting as vocalist. Subsequently, Alec discovered Hugo's screenplays had been circulating and widely revered by the echelon of film industry experts such as director/UCLA professor Philip Frank Messina, Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Sharon Badal, and New York International Latino Film Festival programmer Juan Caceres. Alec became enamored with one screenplay in particular, A Good Dad. From then on the plan was clear. Alec Gibson was ready to take his first humble step into cinema.
