Lookingglass Theatre Company announces its complete 2019-2020 season lineup, with three shows created by Lookingglass Ensemble Members.

The JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center has been proud to produce whimsical and touching stories through its Denver Children's Theatre for 22 years. 2019 will represent the final season for this community staple and it's determined to go out with a blast through the stars. Bathtubs Over Broadway, a documentary feature about comedy writer Steve Young's quest to find all he can about the hidden world of full-throated Broadway-style musical shows about some of America's most recognizable corporations, and The Biggest Little Farm, also a documentary feature, chronicling eight years of daunting work and outsize idealism to create a farm utopia, shared the Best of Fest Award at the 25th annual Sedona International Film Festival.

Puzzle Piece presents The Little Prince: Reimagined - a fresh, high-energy, modern adaptation of the classic novel by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It's the familiar tale of a pilot who encounters a mysterious boy after he crashes his plane in the desert, told anew through object puppetry. You'll never look at a paper plane the same way again.

Tulsa Opera concludes its 2018-19 season this May with performances of Mozart's Don Giovanni, featuring American-born, Germany-based transgender baritone Lucia Lucas in the title role, which marks her main-stage U.S. operatic debut and role debut. Performances take place at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center on Friday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 5 at 2:30 p.m.

The 2017 Tony Award nominee for Best Play, A Doll's House, Part 2, makes its Seattle debut at Seattle Rep this spring, helmed by the extraordinary talents of Michael Winters (The Cider House Rules) and Pamela Reed (The Humans, 2017). Written by Tony Award nominee Lucas Hnath and directed by Seattle Rep Artistic Director Braden Abraham, A Doll's House, Part 2 runs March 15 - April 28, 2019 (opening night is March 20, 2019) on the Leo K. stage. Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, written and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin, from the book by Mary Shelley. Mary Shelley's Frankenstein runs May 8 August 4, 2019 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. Full casting has been announced for the first major revival of Nigel Williams' My Brother's Keeper?, which opens at London's Playground Theatre at the end of February. Joining actor and former stand-up comedian Andy de la Tour as ailing patriarch Mr Stone, will be Katherine Pogson (Vera ITV, Brazil Terry Gilliam, Aunt Dan & Lemon New York Theatre Drama Desk nomination) as Mrs Stone, David Partridge (The Secret Theatre - Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Shakespeare's Globe, All My Sons - Rose Theatre, Kingston, Travels With My Aunt - Cc Theatre, UK tour) and Josh Taylor (Poldark - BBC, The Crown - Netflix, Each His Own Wilderness -Orange Tree Theatre) as their warring sons Sam and Tony.

On Monday, March 4 at 6:30pm the medieval court of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table will come to life on the stage of the Vivian Beaumont Theater when Lin-Manuel Miranda stars as King Arthur in Lerner & Loewe's CAMELOT, directed by Bartlett Sher, for a one-night-only concert event to benefit Lincoln Center Theater.  He will be joined by Solea Pfeiffer as Guenevere, Jordan Donica as Sir Lancelot, Dakin Matthews as Merlyn, Ruthie Ann Miles as Nimue, Ethan Slater as Mordred, Julie White as Morgan Le Fey, and Jenn Colella, Jason Danieley, and Bonnie Milligan as three of the Knights of the Round Table.   Andy & Betsy Kenny Lack, Brooke & Daniel Neidich, and Caryn Zucker are the Benefit Co-Chairs.  Proceeds from the evening will support Lincoln Center Theater's productions and education programs.

Diaries of Madmen is a new production based on Nikolai Gogol's novel Diary of a Madman and Russian musician's Piotr Ilyitch Tchaikovsky's personal diaries. Famous farcical short story by one of the greatest Russian writers Nikolai Gogol, is a funny and brutal exploration of a civil servant's Poprishchin struggle to keep a grip on reality.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Metamorphoses. This co-production with the Guthrie Theater is led by nationally and internationally renowned writer and director Mary Zimmerman.

Tonight, FOX will air their third live musical production. Following in the footsteps of Grease and A Christmas Story, the network will be presenting Jonathan Larson's Rent, a rock musical that is loosely based on Giacomo Puccini's 1896 opera, La boheme. The story follows a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in New York City's East Village in the thriving days of Bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is pleased to announce the first show in its fifth season of our TYA Family Series... James and The Giant Peach. With book by Timothy Allen McDonald, music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, based on the book by Roald Dahl, and directed by Darryl B.
