The official teaser trailer for CARRIE, starring Chloe Grace Moretz as Carrie in an adaptation of Stephen King's original novel 'Carrie'. The Screen Gems and MGM's remake also stars Julianne Moore. Kimberly Peirce directed Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's script for the horror classic, which is due out March 15, 2013. Check out the trailer below!

For the first time ever, the musical Carrie is available for performances by Schools and Theaters through R&H Theatricals and the recent MCC production has been preserved in a cast recording. Today in 1988, Carrie opened at the Virginia Theatre (now the August Wilson Theatre), where it ran for 5 performances. Carrie: The Musical is a musical with a book by Lawrence D. Cohen, lyrics by Dean Pitchford, and music by Michael Gore. Adapted from Stephen King's novel Carrie, it focuses on an awkward teenage girl with telekinetic powers whose lonely life is dominated by an oppressive religious fanatic mother. When she is humiliated by her classmates at the high school prom, she wreaks havoc on everyone and everything in her path.

Atlanta's Alliance Theatre launched its world premiere of Stephen King and John Mellencamp's new blues and rock musical, Ghost Brothers of Darkland County on April 11, 2012. Directed by Susan V.
