De Niro Con​, a celebration of 80 years of Robert De Niro, has unveiled its programming lineup. Coinciding with the 2024 Tribeca Festival, this three-day tribute takes place at Spring Studios in New York City from June 14-16. On September 14th (at 7pm) at the Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street) there will be a reading of “It Fell Off a Truck”, a full-length comedy by veteran PR man Jules Feiler, loosely based on the life of his own father. The piece centers on the relationship between the “tough guy” father (David Proval) his son, (Johnny Tammaro) and the daughter-in-law (Joli Tribuzio). It's a father and son reunion that after 20 years no one would mistake for a happy one.

With the hopes of seeing life return to “normal,” Long Island- based lawyer turned filmmaker, playwright, and fine artist, Michael Ricigliano will debut his newest exhibition, WOVEN at Long Island University Post Campus (720 Northern Boulevard. Brookville, NY 11548). 

Giant Pictures has acquired the US rights for Bruno de Almeida's new movie, Cabaret Maxime, starring Michael Imperioli. It will open theatrically at the Metrograph in NYC on February 21st, ahead of a national, multi-platform rollout on March 3rd.

Singer/actress/songwriter/author/teacher Harriet Schock has had an incredible career in composing for TV and film. She still performs in live concerts around the globe, gives master classes in songwriting and is lauded for her great skill and humanity in writing songs that resonate with the human spirit. 'Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady' and 'First Time on a Ferris Wheel' are but two of her magnificent hit pop songs. Indie Rights will release the film domestically on digital platforms beginning on August 24th. Prior to the theatrical run and digital release, there will be a red-carpet premiere on August 23 at the Music Hall Theater in Beverly Hills that will also be an invitation-only fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association's LA Walk on November 3rd.
