TWILIGHT Takes Top Spot at the Box Office for Third Consecutive Week

Rentrak Corporation, the global leader in box office measurement, today announced the worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of November 25, 2012 as compiled by the company's Box Office Essentials™ and International Box Office Essentials theatrical measurement services. The weekend after Thanksgiving is predictably slow for the movie business, with most people getting their flick-fix during the holiday break. This weekend wasn't much of an exception. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 continued its reign at the top of the list for a third week, raising its domestic total to just over $254 million. SKYFALL kept second place, its total now sitting at $246 million - making it, by far, the most successful film in the James Bond franchise. Disney's LINCOLN also continued its strong showing, earning $13 million this weekend, raising its total to $83 million.
