Shireen Daryadel's PLAYGROUND OF DREAMS will play NewFilmmakers NY's Fall Fest 2012 on Sunday, October 14th at 8 p.m. at the Anthology Film Archives, 32 Second Avenue & 2nd Street in NYC. Tickets are $6.

Playground of Dreams is a story about 'Alese Solomon ' a doctor of a mental institution who finds a mysterious book of matches that lead him to an underground tavern off of Angel Island in San Francisco. Among the many strange and whimsical characters there, he meets a playful poet, a feisty painter and a dancer named 'Lale.' A beautiful yet wounded bird, Lale chooses a new lover at every new moon.
