Actor and comedian Steve Coogan appears as his alter-ego, Norwich radio DJ Alan Partridge in an all-new clip on YouTube announcing the name of his new film, ALPHA PAPA. In the clip, a producer says the film is about Alan in a siege at a radio station, so it will have "action, danger." Partridge adds "and heavy-kissing and guns". Check it out below!
The title 'Alpha Papa' is confirmed in a teaser trailer which follows, also revealing an August 7th release date. The film will feature the bumbling host who objects when his local digital TV channel is taken over and renamed Shape.
Writer and director Armando Iannucci explains, "He's on North Norfolk Digital, which is taken over by a bigger media conglomerate and has its name changed to Shape. And that kicks everything off."
