Tyrese Gibson, Voltron Recordz

Hands down Tyrese Gibson is one of the hardest working men in entertainment. After a Stellar year which kicked off with his literary debut How To Get Out Of Your Own Way which went on to become a New York Times Bestseller, Gibson reprised his roles in two of tinsel town's biggest franchises "Fast Five" and "Transformers: Dark Side of The Moon" taking in a collective box office total of more than 1.8 billion dollars.
If this was not enough Tyrese returned to his musical roots to record and release through his own imprint his fifth studio album, Open Invitation, which not only debuted in the number one position but also spawn the hit single "Stay" which remained Number 1 for 11 consecutive weeks on billboards UAC chart. The icing on the cake came with the Grammy Nomination for Best R&B Album. Indeed Mr.Gibson has redefined the ideals of the energizer bunny.
In 2013 Tyrese Gibson will continue with his brand of soul throughout the entertainment industry. Starting with the first phase of his next solo disc, Black Rose, this is due February 2014. His next literary effort, Manology, which he has co-penned with pop icon Rev. Run, which will hit stores on February 4, 2013. While touring the nation supporting Manology Tyrese will begin to take part in the re-tooling of the Langston Hughes classic, Black Nativity alongside Jennifer Hudson, Forest Whittaker and Angela Bassett. He will also begin the first stages of recording for the much awaited disc from super-group TGT which features Tyrese, Ginuwine and Take and in between he will begin setting promotional efforts for the 6 th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise which will open in theaters nationwide on May 24, 2013 and of course there will be plenty of surprises along the way.
