According to Deadline.com, Broadway's Nina Arianda has joined Megan Griffiths' comedy Lucky Them, starring Toni Collette and produced by JoAnne Woodward.

The film follows Ellie (Collette), a music writer assigned to track down her musician ex-boyfriend. It also stars Oliver Platt, Ryan Eggold and Ahna O'Reilly. The screenplay was written by Huck Botko and Emily Wachtel. Lucky Them just began filming in Seattle.
Arianda took home a 2012 Tony Award for her portrayal of 'Vanda' in Venus in Fur on Broadway. She has also appeared on the Great White Way in Born Yesterday. Arianda's other film credits include Win Win, Higher Ground, Midnight in Paris and Tower Heist. Her next project will be playing Janis Joplin in Sean Durkin's movie Joplin.
