The New York International Children's Film Festival 2013 is here and will run March 1st through the 24th. This year's lineup of AMAZING new films from around the world features premieres, special events, filmmaker Q&As, filmmaking camp for kids, globe-spanning short film programs, audience voting, and the NYICFF Awards & Best of the Fest celebration.
Some special treats include US premieres of From Up on Poppy Hill, the new film from Studio Ghibli, Mamoru Hosoda's Wolf Children, Michel Ocelot's new Kirikou movie, the phenomenal opening night Ernest and Celestine, and a special Girls' POV section (sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences).
