The Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure will be available on DVD exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide on July 16th.

Unraveling a series of clues left behind by his grandfather, Mickey Matson and his friends embark on a journey in search of a mythical ancient device. With the future of the country hanging in the balance, they will have to outsmart and outrun an evil conspiracy that dates back to the Civil War.

Starring Derek Brandon as Mickey Matson and Francesca DeRosa as his newfound friend, Sully, the film features a talented cast, including: Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Lee Arenberg (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Patrika Darbo (Days of Our Lives). The movie has been awarded The Dove Foundation Seal of Approval for family viewing.

Mickey Matson was written and directed by award-winning Director, Harold Cronk and shot primarily at 10 West Studios in scenic Manistee, Michigan. The film was produced by Cronk, award-winning producer Matthew Tailford, and Michigan native Edgar Struble, an acclaimed producer and composer, who currently acts as music director for the American Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Mickey Matson is available for purchase exclusively at Walmart stores throughout the United States beginning July 16th. The film can also be purchased at Walmart.com. In addition to the 93-minute film, the DVD also features behind-the-scenes footage and an announcement of a future production.

"Mickey Matson has truly been a labor of love for us over the past two years and our team is thrilled to see it available nationwide through this agreement with Walmart," said Cronk. "This is a morally-driven adventure film that is fun and exciting for the whole family."
