Variety reports that actors Dov Davidoff, Taryn Manning, Diana Farr, Anna Louise Mountford, Ella Bowman, Cameron Daddo and Currie Graham will join the cast of the feature film ALMOST BROADWAY from Tigertail Films.
Antony J. Bowman (Paperback Hero) and Baloma Felisberton Bilson will produce the project with Bowman directing from his own script. According to the report, the film will follow the story of "a group of struggling actors in New York who capitalize on their friend's unexpected possession of an incriminating sex tape."
Shooting is scheduled to begin this week on location in both Los Angeles and Manhattan.
Manning gained her first major role as an actress in 2001 when she played the role of Maddy in Crazy/Beautiful. She is well known for her film portrayals in Crossroads, 8 Mile, A Lot Like Love, Hustle & Flow, Weirdsville and Jack and Jill vs. the World. Farr is known for her roles as FBI agent Megan Reeves in the CBS television series Numb3rs and Laura Miles on Rescue Me.
