THE WOLVERINE Sequel to Be Released in July 2013

According to digitalspy.com, the sequel to 2009's blockbuster film 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' will be released in theaters on July 26, 2013. 

The film will once again star Hugh Jackman in the role of the mutant Logan who is in the midst of a forbidden romance in Japan. The romance leads to an eventual confrontation with the Silver Samurai. Shooting on the upcoming action adventure has been delayed due to production problems and script rewrites.

Last fall, Jackman revealed to digital spy that he believed the script for the fim was "the best we've ever had. The story was intricate and interesting, filmically I thought it would be ideal. This is a movie I've been longing to make.".
