
According to Hollywood.com, the horror film THE DEVIL INSIDE was the top grossing movie at this weekend's box office. The film, from Paramount Pictures, performed will above industry expectatons. The low budget film tells the story of exorcists who attempt to free a woman possessed by evil spirits. According to early studio estimates, the movie earned over $34.5 million dollars over the weekend, despite mostly negative reviews from critics. Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol, fell to number two over the weekend after holding the top spot for the previous two weekends.
