Stanley Tucci is is talks to star in the Warner Bros. David Yates film, Your Voice in My Head, Variety reports. Tucci, whose film The Hunger Games released last weekend, would star opposite Emma Watson.
The movie has yet to be greenlit. Based on screenwriter Emma Forrest's memoirs, the plot follows a woman's relationship with a journalist. The relationship leads her to attempt suicide, but a psychiatrist saves her. Tucci would play the psychiatrist.
Tucci's stage credits include Broadway productions of Frankie and Johnny in the Clair De Lune (for which he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play), Execution of Justice, The Iceman Cometh, Brighton Beach Memoirs, The Misanthrope, and The Queen and the Rebels, as well as the off-Broadway production of Scapin. He also directed the 2012 Broadway production of Lend Me a Tenor.
Emma Watson is best known for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series.
