Shia LaBeouf Tweets Approval Of Ben Foster In ORPHANS

Shia LaBeouf Tweets Approval Of Ben Foster In ORPHANSVolatile Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf was scheduled to make his Broadway debut in ORPHANS, co-starring Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge, but pulled out of the production earlier this week, citing "creative differences".

Since then, LaBeouf has Tweeted a number of private e-mails shared between himself, Baldwin, director Daniel Sullivan and ORPHANS playwright Lyle Kessler, as well as providing an houlong audition video showing himself throwing his full commitment into the role of the twisted and troubled character Treat in the play.

Then, today, it was announced that rising star Ben Foster would be taking over the role in ORPHANS and the production will still open as planned in a few short weeks in the second week of March.

LaBeouf just Tweeted his approval of Ben Foster's casting in the role, writing, "Ben Foster IS A BEAST. HE WILL KILL IT."

Sounds like a resounding bode of confidence!

Also, in remarking upon theatre as an artform, LaBeouf Tweeted earlier today, "the theater belongs not to the great but to the brash. acting is not for gentlemen, or bureaucratic-academics. what they do is antiart."

Additionally, he attached an e-mail sent earlier today from ORPHANS fight director Rick Sordolet praising his performance - "It was obvious you were going to turn in a fantastic performance," Sordolet writes - and the fight director even extends an invitation to LaBeouf to meet with the head of the acting program at the Yale School of Drama, Ron Van Lieu, about pursuing a Masters degree, following up on an earlier request by the young star "as per our conversation on Tuesday."

Sordolet also crytically adds at the end in regards to LaBeouf's unfortunate ORPHANS exit, "It must have been difficult for others in the room to be schooled by someone who's raw talent and enthusiasm out matched theirs."

Who, exactly, could he be referring to given this accomplished group? Hmm.
