STAGE TUBE: THE HOBBIT Cast Makes Surprise Appearance at Ian McKellen's One-Man Show

Stars of the upcoming Hobbit film made a surprise appearance at a performance of Ian McKellen's one-man show in support of Christchurch's theatre in New Zealand on Saturday night, June 23. According to TheOneRing, Aidan Turner, Richard Armitage, Luke Evans and Martin Freeman appeared in the show's finale. Watch them onstage in the video below!

McKellen started touring his one-man show around New Zealand in May. All proceeds go toward the restoration of Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal, which was destroyed an earthquake in 2011.

Filming is still underway for The Hobbit: There and Back Again, which is set for a 2013 release.
