Hollywood can't get enough of Rose Byrne.
Byrne, who was courted by every major broadcast network for the upcoming pilot season, is in talks to join Sean Levy's adaptation of Jonathan Tropper's novel THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU and Universal's TOWNIES according to the The Hollywood Reporter.
Byrne would join Jane Fonda, Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, and Adam Driver for the film, set to be directed by Shawn Levy.
Fonda will play the Jewish mother of Bateman's character, who returns home to attend his father's funeral and shiva. Upon his return, he must confront long standing issues with his siblings while searching for his ex-wife. Driver will portray the brother of Bateman and Fey, "the rebel of the family."
According to the report, Byrne will play "an old crush of Bateman's character who happens to be a former wild child."
THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU is set to begin shooting in New York City this June.
Should Byrne also sign on for Nick Stoller's upcoming comedy TOWNIES, she would join Zac Efron and Seth Rogen. The film was written by AnDrew Cohen and BrenDan O'Brien.
TOWNIES "follows a regular guy (Rogen) who lives near an alpha male frat, led by Efron's character, and whose behavior wreaks havoc on Rogen's home life. Byrne would play the wife of Rogen, the one who keeps their relationship together.

Byrne made a name for herself starring opposite Glenn Close on FX's DAMAGES, which ran for five seasons. The acclaimed actress has also appeared in such films as INSIDIOUS, BRIDESMAIDS, and X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. She can next be seen in THE INTERNSHIP alongside Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.
