As first reported on Deadline.com, actresses Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace are set to star in Brian DePalma's upcoming film, PASSION. The movie is a remake of Alain Corneau's 2010 thriller 'Crime D'Amour' which starred Kristin Scott-Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier.
The project is being co-produced by France’s Said Ben Saïd's SBS Productions and Integral Films. The film tells the story of a conniving boss and her ambitious protégé who come into conflict. According to the report, the film's additional roles have not yet been cast. Shooting is set to begin in March of 2012.
McAdams will next be seen on the big screen in the upcoming tearjerker, 'The Vow'. Rapace is currently filming Ridley Scott's highly anticipated sci-fi project 'Prometheus'.
