RANGO, KUNG FU PANDA and More Set for Rooftop Films' Summer Series at Bronx Terminal Market, Now thru 8/21

Celebrate the summer with Bronx Terminal Market and Rooftop Films every other Tuesday this July and AuguSt. Mark your calendars and bring your beach chairs or towels for a FREE, family-friendly film series under the stars on Bronx Terminal Market's Level 6 garage roof deck. Come early to save your spot and check out special pre-film festivities with community groups starting at 7:30pm. Movies begin promptly at sunset (around 8:30pm).

Tonight, July 10 • Rango

IATI Theater kicks off the first night of Rooftop Films at Bronx Terminal Market to celebrate Latin-American culture with a selection followed by our feature film, Rango. The film stars Johnny Depp as in his first animated feature alongside mariachi owls and a Mexican folk-inspired soundtrack written by Los Lobos and celebrated film composer Hans Zimmer.

Tuesday, July 24 • Ratatouille

Come back for our second night to enjoy a special evening for foodies! Experience an exclusive culinary adventure with Baron Ambrosia, hilarious TV host of BronxNet’s Bronx Flavor, and BTM's own Marisco Centro Seafood Restaurant & Bar. Come early for tastings and a special screening of an original Bronx Flavor episode while we wait for the beloved animated feature, Ratatouille!

Tuesday, August 7 • Rooftop Films' Inocente Bronx premiere

Be inspired with creative youth workshops from the Bronx Council On the Arts and The DreamYard Project. After sunset, watch the exclusive Bronx premiere of Rooftop Films’ Featured Documentary, Inocente, made by Academy Award-nominated filmmakers, about a homeless teen finding hope through creativity. Stick around to meet the filmmaker and get an insider’s look at this inspiring and lovely film. *Note to parents: Due to the sensitive subject matter, this film is recommended for ages 11 and over.

Tuesday, August 21 • Kung Fu Panda

As BTM’s first summer film series winds down, get pumped with fitness aficionados from the Bronx YMCA and BronxNet’s Grandmaster Fitness starring Mele-Mel. Enjoy a special screening of an original Grandmaster Fitnessepisode before our last feature blockbuster of the summer, Kung Fu Panda. Be sure to join us for this exciting night of fitness and animated adventure!
