Pilobolus's groundbreaking collaboration with the band OK Go and Google on the music video "All Is Not Lost" garnered multiple Cannes Lions Awards at the 59th Annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, currently taking place in Cannes, France. The honors bestowed on the video are the Gold Film Lion for Interactive Film, Gold Cyber Lion (Craft) for Best Video, the Gold Design Lion for Typography, the Silver Cyber Lion (Websites & Microsites) for Publications & Media, and the Bronze Design Lion for Online Digital Design. These prestigious honors come on the heels of the video's 2012 GRAMMY Award Nomination for Best Short Form Music Video.

Co-directed by Pilobolus Executive Director Itamar Kubovy, OK Go lead singer and guitarist Damian Kulash Jr., and Trish Sie, and produced by Shirley Moyers, "All Is Not Lost" represents the first video collaboration between GRAMMY Award-winning rock band OK Go and world-renowned dance troupe Pilobolus. Together with Google, they crafted an interactive online dance and music experience using HTML5 Chrome-the first of its kind. The project showcases the latest in modern browser technology, allowing users the ability to direct segments of the choreography to incorporate a unique message in English, Japanese or any language using the Roman or Katakana alphabets. Spread across twelve separate windows, "All Is Not Lost" is a kaleidoscopic wonder of movement, music and living letters. The video has been viewed by millions at: www.allisnotlo.st.

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the world's biggest celebration of creativity in communications. Pilobolus is a modern performance company, founded in 1971, that to this day wears its revolutionary stripes on its sleeves. In keeping with its fundamentally collective creative process, Pilobolus Dance Theatre now curates and convenes groups of diverse artists- including the MIT Distributed Robotics Laboratory, Art Spiegelman, OK Go, Radiolab, and many others-to make inventive, athletic, witty, collaborative performance works on stage and screen using the human body as a medium for expression.
