Photo Flash: WEST SIDE STORY Hand and Foot Print Ceremony

In honor of the West Side Story: 50th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray release, Twentieth Century Fox and MGM Home Entertainment paid homage to the remarkable film as stars Rita Moreno, George Chakiris and Russ Tamblyn were immortalized at the exact location of the film's original premiere in 1961. Later in the evening, the three legends and other Hollywood stars  walked the red carpet just prior to a one-night-only screening of the 10-time Oscar® winning film. Both events will be hosted by renowned producer, director and choreographer Kenny Ortega.

West Side Story stars Rita Moreno, George Chakiris and Russ Tamblyn were honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre this morning. An exciting celebrity-filled red carpet premiere will take place later in the evening with Moreno, Chakiris and Tamblyn. Additional VIPs include Quentin Tarantino, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett, David Cross, Mark Salling, Jason Ritter, Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn, Adam Shankman, Kenny Ortega, Marilyn Manson, Joe Mantegna and Nigel Lythgoe, among others.
