Photo Flash: Teaser Artwork for New A&E Series BATES MOTEL

The Hollywood Reporter has released a first look at teaser artwork for the new upcoming A&E series BATES MOTEL. The series will star Vera Farmiga as Norma Bates. Check it out below!

 

"Bates Motel" gives viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates' psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn first hand how his mother, Norma, and her love damaged Norman, helped forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history.

 

"We are proud to be partnering with Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin on their thrilling reinvention of one of the most compelling characters in cinematic history," said A&E's DeBitetto and McKillop. "It's a provocative project from two of the best storytellers in the business and we're looking forward to getting started."

 

"Bates Motel" will premiere on A&E in 2013.
