The movie follows the intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they live through the drama and romance of New Year's Eve in Manhattan. New Year's Eve was directed by Garry Marshall.

The cast also includes Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Hilary Swank, and Sofia Vergara.
