Photo Flash: James Franco Honored with Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

James Franco, who stars in Disney's OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL opening in theaters today, received the 2,492nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday, March 7, 2013. In accepting the honor, the actor commented, "Thank you for this great spot in front of the El Capitan Theatre. I hope Jimmy Kimmel comes and shines my star every morning." Seth Rogen, Franco's co-star on TV's "Freaks and Geeks," and Sam Raimi, who directed him in 'Oz' were among the speakers at the ceremony.

In an emotional speech, the grateful actor thanked his mother and added, "I wish that I could put a bunch of names on this star because this is collaborative business, not just making the movies, the people behind-the-scenes, the people that have been there for me all the way through. If I could, I'd put all your names on there."
