Photo Flash: First Look at Lucie Bila and More in CARMEN - 3D Movie Set to Open Today!

Frank Wildhorn/Jack Murphy/Norman Allen's CARMEN is the most succesful musical of the Czech republic. It ran for almost 4 years til 2012 and will open this year in 2 Asian countries. The star of CARMEN (movie and world premiere) is Czech superstar Lucie Bila. For The First Time a musical has been turned into a 3D movie, set to open today, January 9, 2013. CARMEN is set in a circus, using live animals, magicians and more. The show had its world premiere at the Karlin Theater in Prague, which is run by Egon Kulhanek. Directed by Gabriel Barre (also Frank's „Camille Claudel" at Goodspeed), orchestrations Kim Scharnberg, arrangements: Koen Schoots, music supervisor: Adrian Werum, translation Adam Novak.
