Actor Vin Diesel will be reprising his role as intergalactic serial killer Richard B. Riddick in the upcoming film CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK. The film will be written and directed by "Pitch Black" author David Twohy.
The actor has just released an image from the upcoming film on his Facebook page, telling fans, "Grateful for the opportunity to make magic."
In addition to Vin Diesel, the film will star actress Katee Sackhoff as the female lead, Dahl, a Nordic mercenary tasked with hunting down Riddick as well as Jordi Molla in the role of the movie's villain, Santana. Karl Urban will also be reprising his role as Lord Vaako.
According to the film's official synopsis, Riddick has been betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet in this installment. He must fight for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.
No release date has been set for the upcoming film.
