Photo Flash: First Look - Production Photos from Robert Pattinson's BEL AMI

BEL AMI is coming to theaters on March 2, 2012. The film is based on the french novel by Guy de Maupassant. It is produced by Uberto Pasonlini with a screenplay by Rachel Bennette and is being directed by Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod. Filming began this past February in London where interior sets were shot and then moved on to Budapest, Hungary for exterior scenes.

The film stars Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Philip Glenister, Christina Ricci, Kristin Scott Thomas, Colm Meaney, Holliday Grainger, James Lance and Natalia Tena.

BEL AMI is the story of Georges Duroy, who travels through 1890s Paris, from cockroach ridden garrets to opulent salons, using his wits and powers of seduction to rise from poverty to wealth, from a prostitute's embrace to passionate trysts with wealthy beauties, in a world where politics and media jostle for influence, where sex is power and celebrity an obsession.
