The Gold Coast International Film Festival and New York Institue of Technology presented An Evening of Screenings & Conversation. A Special Pre-Festival event. The evening featured screenings of Ms. Rossellini's short films: "My Dad is 100 Years Old" and "Animals Distract Me". There was a post-screening Q&A with the actress. David Schwartz, Chief Curator, Museum of Moving Image was moderator.
The inaugurAl Gold Coast International Film Festival launches June 1-5 on Long Island's storied Gold Coast in the towns of Great Neck, Port Washington, Roslyn, Manhasset and Herricks/New Hyde Park. Festival events include screenings, filmmaker panels, parties, and street fairs.
Premieres of some of the best in today's independent films will be shown and the Festival will have dozens of filmmakers present to talk about filmmaking.
Famed actor Bruce Dern will receive the Festival's Legend Award on June 2. All-Acess VIP Passes are currently on sale at www.goldcoastfilmfestival.org
Tickets to individual screenings and special events go on sale starting May 16.
