People Magazine Names Channing Tatum 'Sexiest Man Alive'!

People Magazine has just revealed that Channing Tatum is the 'Sexiest Man Alive'! Responding to the news, the actor commented "My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me. I told [wife] Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked. She was like, 'What?'" He jokingly added, "Yeah, she calls me [the Sexiest Man Alive] now."

The muscular 32-year-old heartthrob is currently training for his next role, that of an Olympic athlete in the upcoming film 'Foxcatcher.'  "I like to be lean. If I get too bulky I can't move well and I like to move," he says. "When I'm not training, I get really round and soft." 

The special issue of People Magazine will be available on newsstands this Friday. 

Tatum is best known for his roles in Step Up (2006), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Dear John (2010), The Vow (2012), 21 Jump Street (2012), and Magic Mike (2012). He has also appeared in films such as Coach Carter (2005), She's the Man (2006), A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006), Fighting (2009), and The Dilemma (2010). While mostly known for his dramatic performances in Dear John and The Vow, he has since ventured into more comedic roles.
