ETonline reports that the voices of Beatle Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono, wife of the late John Lennon, will be heard on the soundtrack to Judd Apatow's upcoming film THIS IS 40. Ono will sing the song 'I'm Your Angel' while McCartney will croon 'Lunch Box Old Sox.'
News of the two singers performing on the same soundtrack was released only one week after McCartney revealed in an interview that he does not hold the 79-year-old Ono responsible for the break up of the iconic rock band. "She certainly didn't break the group up, the group was breaking up," McCartney told British television's David Frost. "I don't think you can blame her for anything."
The interview will air in full today on Frost's program which airs on the Al Jazeera English TV channel. Apatow's 'This is 40' is set to be released in theaters on December 21, with the soundtrack becoming available on December 11th.
