According to Deadline.com, Paramount Studios will delay the opening of its upcoming film TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES. The remake, which was originally scheduled to open in wide release on May 16, 2014, will now open three weeks later, on June 6. Sources say the change was due to the fact that the filmmakers and studio would not be ready for the planned production starting date. The live action CGI film will be helmed by Jonathan Liebsman and written by Evan Daugherty. Last week, producer Michael Bay revealed on his blog that Megan Fox would star in the reboot.
The original animated film followed four turtles who are turned humanoid through contact with radioactive slime, and trained in martial arts by their humanoid rat master.
