The highly-anticipated follow-up to last summer's mega-hit THE HUNGER GAMES arrives in theaters in a few months, but the first look at Josh Huterson in THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE has now been revealed.
Peeta Mellark sits atop a wooden throne in this striking new image from THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, the fourth of its kind in a week's time.
Decked out in a white suit, complete with white rose and futuristic accoutrements, Peeta poses galliantly for his Victory Portrait.
Earlier this week, a Victory Portrait for Effie Trinket, portrayed in the franchise by Elizabeth Banks, was revealed.
Previously, a Victory Tour poster (to the side), featuring Hutcherson alongside freshly-minted Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence in the central role of Katniss Everdeen, as well as another Victory Tour-themed image from the forthcoming film were released.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE is set to be released on November 22.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Donald Sutherland. It comes hot on the heels of the first film in the series, based on Suzanne Collins futuristic dystopia-set novels, which the 3rd highest-grossing opening weekend of all time ($150+ million) and went on to gross nearly $700 million worldwide.
Last year, I had the pleasure of speaking with HUNGER GAMES star Woody Harrelson about his role as Haymitch Abernathy, advisor to the tributes of the titular death-match competition. Check out InDepth InterView: Woody Harrelson here.
