Moving Image Presents SEVEN NIGHTS WITH HARRY POTTER July 15

When Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 opens in theaters on July 15, it will mark the last installment in the most successful film franchise of all time. Museum of the Moving Image will give New York audiences a special opportunity to see the first seven Harry Potter movies on the big screen, with a series of evening screenings from July 6 through 13. The first seven films in the series, which have earned approximately $6.4 billion worldwide, will be shown in 35mm studio prints from Warner Bros. Pictures. The screenings will take place in the Museum's beautiful new 267-seat theater.

Tickets for each film are $12 public/$8 Museum members / Free for Red Carpet Kids and Silver Screen members and above. A series ticket is available for $50/$35 Museum members. Tickets are available online at movingimage.us, or by phone at 718 777 6800.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Wednesday, July 6, 7:00 p.m.
Dir. Chris Columbus. 2001, 152 mins. 35mm. Based on the first of J.K. Rowling's popular novels, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone tells the story of a boy who learns on his 11th birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses unique magical powers of his own. Invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry embarks on the adventure of a lifetime.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Thursday, July 7, 7:00 p.m.
Dir. Chris Columbus. 2002, 161 mins. 35mm. Young wizards Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger face new challenges during their second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as they try to uncover a dark force that is terrorizing the school.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Friday, July 8, 7:00 p.m.
Dir. Alfonso Cuarón. 2004, 141 mins. 35 mm. Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione return for their third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where the teenagers are forced to face their darkest fears as they confront a dangerous escaped prisoner and the equally foreboding Dementors, who are sent there to protect them.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Saturday, July 9, 7:00 p.m.
Dir. Mike Newell. 2005, 157 mins. 35 mm. Harry must contend with being mysteriously selected to compete in the prestigious Triwizard Tournament, a thrilling international competition that pits him against older and more experienced students from Hogwarts and two rival European wizarding schools.
