According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Meryl Streep is set to narrate the upcoming Imax documentary TO THE ARCTIC 3D. Streep has previously worked with the company behind the documentary, MacGillivray Freeman Films, on two other projects, 'The Living Sea' and 'Hurricane on the Bayou'. TO THE ARCTIC is set to hit Imax theaters on April 20th.
The film will take moviegoers on a voyage to the 'top of the world' as it follows a story of survival in the harsh arctic conditions.
Streep can currently be seen starring as former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in Phyllida Lloyd's 'The Iron Lady'. The actress was recently made a 2011 Kennedy Center honoree for her award-winning work in film.
