As first reported in Us Weekly, actress Mary Louise Parker, star of the HBO series 'Weeds', will be replacing Demi Moore in the role of Gloria Steinem in the upcoming film biopic LOVELACE. Moore backed out of the role earlier this week, siting emotional and medical issues.
According to a recently released 911 tape, Moore had suffered a seizure on Monday evening and requested medical aid in order to "treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health." A source close to Demi Moore commented, "Her life is completely in crisis. She is turning 50 and has no idea who she is or what her focus should be."
Filming for LOVELACE is currently underway in Los Angeles with actress Amanda Seyfried in the lead role of the 70's porn star Linda Lovelace.
