Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson to Star in CAN A SONG SAVE YOUR LIFE?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson will star in the upcoming romantic film CAN A SONG SAVE YOUR LIFE? The film will be written and directed by John Carney. 

The story centers on a singer, Johansson, who moves to Manhattan in order to pursue a singing career. After being rejected by her boyfriend, she encouters Ruffalo's character, a down-and-out record producer who discovers her singing at a local club. 

Tobin Armbrust, head of production on the film commented, "This is a beautiful and soulful story that we are honored to help John bring to life.

Carney will collaborate with grammy-winning songwriter Gregg Alexander on the film's music.
